But I can't agree to buying a $5 bag just for the buckles... to me that seems incredibly wasteful.
Isn't the whole idea to try and upcycle something? For sure it is a very cheap bag (the 5 dollar one, not yours) but it probably has a high environmental cost... (well maybe not the energy cost because I am sure that the country in which is made uses far less energy than USA/UK/CAN/EU/AU). Do far east manufacturers care about river pollution, ecology, sustainability, etc?
So by all means source an old seatbelt or buckle from elsewhere... Thanks for listening anyway.
