How to Put a Tassel on a Cap

Aug 7, 2009 06:56 PM
Yellow crochet hat with a tassel.

This is for those graduates that are worried about having their tassel fall off.

Put the rubber band around the loop of the tassel, and twist it around a few times.

Put the tassel on the cap.

Roll the rubberband up to the button on the top of the cap.

Tips

  • Braces rubberbands work great.
  • You can find tiny bands sold as hair accessories.
  • If you don't have a rubberband you can always make a loop with tassle, and put it on that way. It works like a slip knot.

Warnings

  • If the band is too tight it may break.
  • If the band is too loose it may come off.

Things You'll Need

  • Rubberband
  • Tassel
  • Cap
